Melt (Love Me)
Melt (Love Me) (2003) is one part of a program of dance works called Love Me, created by choreographer Lucy Guerin. Melt describes a rise in temperature from freezing to boiling with each degree explored temperamentally and physically. It is a highly focused duet for two women whose detailed movements are intensified by Michaela’s specifically designed motion graphics, lighting and projection space. Melt (Love Me) was first performed at the Malthouse Theatre, Melbourne Australia and has enjoyed extensive international touring, including a 2009 season at the Purcell Room, Southbank London.
