A delightful day was spent last Saturday at the Crafty Fox Spring Market at the Dogstar Hotel in Brixton. I took the French & Godbold cards collection along in my trusty suitcase and set up shop. It was great day with a good number of sales and very encouraging feedback. Our tiny gift cards proved to be quite a hit. It was also a pleasure to spend my day sharing a stall with Mrs Gumi and her husband Tom, as well as chatting to lovely range of crafty artists. There was tea and cake, great atmosphere and visits from family and friends. A very pleasing day…

First Run
We are excited at French & Godbold this week because we have received our first run of greetings cards from our printer. They have done a beautiful job and the images look as lovely as we hoped they would. Lots of folding and bagging for Richard and Michaela this week…but we are happy about that.
Preparations
Fine tuning and preparations are on the agenda at the French & Godbold Studio this week. Our card designs are all being prepared for our first print run. We have some old friends re-versioned, “Slugs Dream of Lettuce” (above) and some new delights to keep us all entertained. We get closer every day to our making our ideas into reality and we are looking forward to having all our work available through our website.
French & Godbold
My French & Godbold website was born today, a new small pup of a site, still finding its feet in the big www. But looking lovely all the same. Soon it will house a shop, selling greetings cards designed by me and Richard. I am feeling many levels satisfaction.
