We are very excited to announce that French & Godbold greeting cards and tiny gift cards are now for sale at Things British in Kingly Court, London (just off Carnaby street). Things British is a newly opened boutique committed to promoting and supporting British designers and makers. The shop is filled with a beautiful range of products and we are delighted to be included. I highly recommend a visit to Kingly Court as it provides a treasure trove of wonders to explore.

Dreaming of Harry Seidler
A new fellow has emerged today as part of the F&G “Garden Creatures” greeting card series. A snail dreaming of a house inspired by the early work of 1960’s modernist architect, Harry Seidler. This snail will make a beautiful card design but dreams ultimately of being wallpaper in a Seidler house.
Satisfaction
I am working hard this week, lecturing has begun and the Hertford Vintage Fayre is on this Saturday. Many illustrations underway and the beginnings of a lovely collection of greeting cards. Its always good to have a deadline and remind oneself what can be achieved in a week.

Experimentation
A new project is underway; a new miniature world. Derived from some initial ideas but now there is much playing and experimentation. I love the feeling of not quite knowing where something is going and allowing the process to guide the way. One never knows what one might find. A delightful way to spend my afternoon.

Lemon Yellow
Yellow is light with a wavelength of 570–580 nanometres. The colour lemon yellow is situated between 570 and 575 nm at the cooler end of the frequency range. Lemon yellow is naturally associated with its namesake, the citrus fruit, but was not developed as a commercial pigment until the early 1830s. Lemon yellow is cool, sharp and refreshing, it is an exciting and energetic colour which will rarely sit quietly.
